This is a photograph of the bird mill in Florida where Bird Paradise obtains many of its inventory of birds for sale in its New Jersey store.
This cockatoo is one of thousands of birds crammed into rows upon rows of tiny cages at the Bird Paradise breeding mill where their entire world is reduced to bars, a box and a perch.
An incubator is where many of the eggs are hatched. Nothing could be less natural.
Is it a microwave? No, its a bird egg processor. These birds are deprived of everything natural even before they are born.
Two birds in barren cages at the Bird Paradise bird mill. They spend their entire lives in a hutch, mass producing more baby birds for Bird Paradise to sell.
A photo of the Bird Paradise store in New Jersey - what a contrast! Too bad none of the birds at the breeding mill get even one of these pretty toys....
So many cages but not a single toy, even though the Bird Paradise store is crammed with them.
What a sad life for these poor birds. Shame on Bird Paradise.
